Aerial view of commercial construction

For a commercial contractor, the closeout of a project isn’t just a completion point—it’s a chance to reflect on the journey, including the countless conversations, shared moments, and critical decisions that brought the vision to life. As we close the book on 2023, our team decided to end the year with a “close out” of our own. Throughout the year, our team achieved remarkable accomplishments on projects, consistently demonstrating unwavering dedication to our clients and a remarkable ability to find innovative solutions to any challenge that arose. The year also marked a significant milestone for our company: our 90th anniversary as a leader in Nashville’s construction industry.

To celebrate this journey and share valuable insights, we’ve compiled a recap highlighting some of our most memorable project milestones and valuable commercial construction insights.

Our Most Memorable Projects and Moments of 2023

Feintool Expansion Project

Building upon a successful partnership spanning numerous projects, we commenced construction on another design/build expansion and renovation project for Feintool. This year, we started a project for them that will add 47,000 square feet to their existing facility, a 25% increase that will support their continued growth. This project is another celebration of our long-standing relationship with Feintool and further demonstrates our team’s commitment to providing exceptional service and quality craftsmanship.

Continuing to Make Progress on the BNA Hilton Project

Our team continued to make strides and achieved several noteworthy milestones for the Hilton Hotel at BNA. We started the year with a Topping Out ceremony and recently collaborated with our partners at Gate Precast to create and deliver a sophisticated façade system. Their team installed the window wall systems with architectural precast panels at the manufacturer. This helped expedite on-site construction and enhanced aesthetics and functionality.  We recently received the TCO, a huge milestone to end the year.

Completing the Verizon Switch Facility

Despite facing significant supply chain challenges, our team successfully completed a large building addition and renovation for a Verizon Wireless switch facility. This project demonstrated our unwavering dedication to client satisfaction and our ability to overcome obstacles with creativity and resourcefulness. We’re proud to have contributed to the expansion of Verizon’s network infrastructure.

Celebrating Our 90th Anniversary at Prancing Horse of Nashville

The completion of the Prancing Horse of Nashville building provided a fitting backdrop for our 90th anniversary celebration. This milestone event was a celebration of our rich history and dedication to building lasting relationships with our clients and partners. We are grateful for the opportunity to showcase the work of our team and celebrate alongside the team members, subcontractors, clients, and industry partners who have been part of our story over the past ninety years.
