This adaptive reuse project transformed an old warehouse Crain Construction originally built in 1959 into Class A office space. The project won a ULI Nashville Excellence in Development Award.
Crain conducted asbestos abatement and gutted the interior of the old warehouse. Structural bays were removed to allow for additional parking and a new back wall was
built. Exterior walls were reclad accentuating the exterior’s eye-catching design. Three old shipping dock doors located on the east side of the building were repurposed as large front windows and an entry door. The new office space has exposed ceilings, high-end finishes and original warehouse floors.
