The Crain Construction team enjoys:
Our Preconstruction team plans and estimates all parts of our client projects. This includes all aspects of setting up projects for success, leading the process related to preconstruction, and building subcontractor relationships. Most importantly, our Preconstruction team plays a vital role in protecting building/design standards and managing risks at each phase of development prior to construction commencement.
Project managers work diligently to achieve and exceed expectations. Project managers must know and understand the project’s contract and all conditions and identify or anticipate potential issues that may result in unforeseen costs. Collaboration with onsite project superintendents is crucial to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget.
Project superintendents supervise the total construction efforts of a project to ensure it is built to design, budget, and schedule with the highest standard of quality and safety. This role also coordinates and manages all onsite personnel to ensure compliance with project procedures, safety, and work rules.
Project engineers ensure compliance with all permitting, building plans, and client needs. Project engineers continually coordinate with architects and engineers to obtain the requested information from the Codes Department and ensure that all plans are updated as needed. Project engineers also communicate and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors on a daily basis.
Skilled laborers are responsible for following the directions of the Project Superintendent or Foreman, with a goal of exceeding the expectations of the client. Laborers perform a variety of duties on our project sites, including building excavation for footings, assisting in layout and setting batter boards, and handling form lumber to assist carpenters during forming. Carpenters also interpret plans and specifications to erect forms, layout foundations, monitor concrete pours, and build wood framing. Regardless of the project, you must be committed to safety and quality.
