Across the street at 1108 Gallatin Ave. is a 6,000-square-foot building that will include three retail storefronts.
Crain Construction has teamed with H.G. Hill Realty Company on several projects, including the recent renovation of Hill Center Brentwood. The general contractor has also completed more than 20 projects for Publix, ranging from retrofits to renovations to new builds.
“We take pride in building long-term relationships with clients and really appreciate the trust that Publix and Jimmy Granbery and his Hill Realty team continue to have in us,” said Michael Rankin, president/CEO of Crain Construction. “These valued relationships and repeat customers are integral to our role in building relationships and structures that last a lifetime.”
Approximately 219 parking spaces are planned along with road improvements and new sidewalks along Gallatin Ave., West Greenwood, Greenwood, and Sharpe avenues. The development also includes townhomes that will flank Publix. Crain Construction is not building the townhomes.
Other members of the Hill Center Greenwood development team are Smith Gee Studio, Hawkins Partners Inc., Barge Cauthen & Associates Inc., and EMC Structural Engineers.
A first quarter 2021 opening is anticipated for the Publix.
