06 Jan CRAIN ADDS PROJECT ENGINEERS COMPTON, MARTINEZ
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — General contractor Crain Construction Inc. has added two project engineers to the firm.
Will Compton is a project engineer on the TownePlace Suites hotel Crain Construction is building on Charlotte Avenue. Compton has solid field knowledge and office management experience. He has managed retail store build outs and tenant improvement projects, with multiple stores under construction while simultaneously managing the preconstruction phase of up to 50 sites. Compton holds an associates degree in civil engineering technology from Murray State University.
Jonathan Martinez is currently project engineer on the Element by Westin Nashville hotel Crain Construction is building in oneC1TY. He is a designer and builder with a bachelor’s degree in architectural studies from the University of Texas in Austin. The Houston native has worked on a student housing structure, office build outs, and designed a prototype modular housing community for Haiti. Martinez also volunteers with Nashville International Center for Empowerment, where he teaches English to immigrants and refugees twice a week.
