THREE CRAIN PROJECTS RECEIVE EXCELLENCE IN CONSTRUCTION AWARDS

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Three Crain Construction projects were recognized with 2017 Excellence in Construction Awards from the Associated Builders and Contractors – Greater Tennessee Chapter.

Crain Construction projects honored were:

  • Aertson Midtown, a 17-story, 800,000-square-foot mixed-use urban development covering two acres near the Vanderbilt University campus;
  • The Chelsea, a 79-unit urban apartment building featuring a custom art mural made from 3,092 pieces of lap siding; and
  • 2963 Sidco Drive, an adaptive reuse project that transformed a warehouse into Class A office space.

“We’re committed to building structures that last a lifetime and truly honored when those structures are recognized for excellence by our construction industry peers,” said Michael Rankin, president of Crain Construction.

The 22nd annual awards event, held October 19 at the Sheraton Music City Hotel, honored the “best of the best” through an independently judged competition of submitted construction projects.
