TEAMS COMPETE IN 4TH ANNUAL RIB OFF, RAISE MONEY FOR AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – This year’s change in venue didn’t smother the smoking hot competition for Crain Construction’s 4th Annual Nashville Rib Off held in Centennial Park on October 27.

With the smoke-cured meats tender on the bone, judges rendered their verdicts declaring NAI Nashville Fattyshack the winner of the rib competition and Duke Realty Corporation Nice Rack was the victor in the wing category.

“The real winner of the 2017 Rib Off is the American Heart Association,” said Lizabeth Theiss, Crain Construction’s vice president of business development and Nashville Rib Off master. “I’m delighted to report we raised $2,400 for the nonprofit with this year’s contest.”

Nashville Chamber Porknership 2020 took Best Booth Design honors. NAI Nashville Fattyshack was awarded Best Team Uniform. JP Morgan Chase Secondhand Smoke took Best Side Dish honors for the its Mexican Smoked Corn.

This marks the first year the Nashville Rib Off has been held in Centennial Park. Previous competitions were held at the Nashville Gun Club.
