PGI

About This Project

We have had the pleasure of doing several projects on the PGI campus, including the design/build of a 310,000-square-foot distribution facility. We built a 230,000-square-foot facility on a Brownfield site that connects to an existing 80,000-square-foot warehouse that we also completely renovated.

The distribution center addition is a Butler pre-engineered structure with the MR-24 standing seam roof system, flat floor construction for high rack storage, ESFR automatic fire sprinkler systems, high efficiency Cambridge heating systems and high efficiency T5 fluorescent lighting. The site required significant site remediation, rain garden water quality devices, landscaping and 12,225 square yards of eight-inch thick concrete paving.

We also did the design/build of PGI’s 36,227-square-foot research and development facility that consists of both conventional steel and pre-engineered metal construction. Constructed process services included steam, compressed air, nitrogen, filtered water and chilled water. This project has received national recognition for excellence in construction.
