CRAIN BREAKS GROUND FOR TOYOTA DEALERSHIP

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Crain Construction, Inc. has broken ground on a new $12 million Toyota of Nashville-North dealership to be built just a couple miles from the current Rivergate Toyota automotive dealership.

The new 50,000-square-foot facility is on a 17-acre site at 2400 Gallatin Pike North in Madison, Tenn. It marks the eighth dealership project for Crain Construction.

“Over the past 30 years, we’ve worked on eight to 10 projects for Performance Automotive,” said Michael Rankin, president of Crain Construction. “This project is a good example of our mission to build relationships and structures that last a lifetime. We’re grateful to be doing another project for this repeat customer.”

When the new Toyota of Nashville-North project is completed in June 2017, it will be a one-story structure in front with a mezzanine level at the rear, with a full-service repair shop, lots of tile, glass and a fireplace in the customer lounge.

Initial site work includes the installation of 140 micro piers positioned 20 feet in the ground to provide support for the structure.
